Express-repair of extrusiongearbox (foreign brand) helps customer to shorten down-time
At the extrusionline of a german pet feed producing company the main gearbox collapsed.
A first check up showed that
- gears and shafts have to be reworked
- the gear at the input has to be renewed
- the inut shaft has to be renewed
- bearings and sealings have to be renewed
- re-assembly
- testrun
The team of KACHELMANN had 7 days to get the gearbox overhauled, including the production of the case hardend and grinded spareparts. Kachelmann met the deadline and the gearbox could be set back to the extrutionline. Fast analysis of the demage, express production and assembly together with an effective and efficient production and administration helped our customer to shorten the breakdown time to a minimum.
