Helical bevel gearbox for converting the low speed of the water turbine into the higher speed required by the generator to generate electricity. Gearbox designed for continuous operation with separate oil supply. In this hydropower plant, the turbine output shaft has been fitted with a flange. The gearbox input shaft is designed as a flanged shaft. This makes it easy to assemble and disassemble the gear unit in the event of repairs.
