- Delivered gearbox was completely dismantled
- Delivery status was documented in writing and photos
- Housing and all individual parts cleaned
- Housing sandblasted
- Housing and individual parts measured
- Assembly parts list and assembly drawings newly prepared
- Complete set of production drawings created
- Gear shaft seat and bores checked
- Tooth flanks checked
- All rolling bearings and O-rings replaced
- Standard parts and all screws replaced
- 98% of internal parts were reworked, O-ring running surfaces on the shafts reworked
- Gearbox mounted
- Test run on the KACHELMANN GETRIEBE gearbox test bench and checked for leak tightness
- Gearbox painted
- Acceptance recorded
KACHELMANN GETRIEBE FACTORY WARRANTY: 24 months after delivery
This project required extensive know-how in the manufacturing of custom-made gearboxes as well as skilled employees with many years of experience. Continuous coordination between the specialists at KACHELMANN GETRIEBE and the customer’s repair department made sure that the process ran smoothly.
Duration of the work including complete site installation: 12 weeks.
