Project description:
Mixer gearbox for driving a mixing system/mixing plant. Two output shafts, one above the other, drive a worm pump through which the plastic is mixed. Several pumps are arranged one behind the other. The pumps have different speeds. The plastic is conveyed from one worm pump to the other and thus mixed. This mixing process takes place at high temperatures. These temperatures are transferred from the pumps to the output shafts of the gearbox. The bearings must be designed accordingly. A separately driven pressurised oil system supplies the bearing points and the gear mesh with cooled oil. Compact design with closely spaced different transmission ratios in a very small installation space.
