The gearbox was immediately taken to the Kachelmann plant. The fault diagnosis revealed damage to the gearing parts and roller bearings.

- Gearbox dismantled
- Housing and internal parts measured
- Gear teeth reworked
- Complete set of roller bearings and sealing elements reinstalled
- Gearbox fitted
- Provided oil pump, double filter and oil cooler fitted
- Test run and painting
- Installation of the gearbox on site
- Alignment of the gearbox in the system
