Project description:
The single shaft disintegrator is at the start of the manufacturing process in paper production and therefore immediate action was necessary. The gearbox was taken to the KACHELMANN GETRIEBE factory immediately. The fault diagnosis showed damage to the toothed parts and rolling bearings.
Work performed:
- Gearbox removed
- Housing and internal parts measured
- Gear teeth reworked
- Completely new set of rolling bearings and sealing elements fitted
- Gearbox mounted
- Mounting of oil pump, double filter and oil cooler provided
- Test run and painting
- Installation of the gearbox on site
- Alignment of the gearbox in the system
Duration of the work including the installation on site: 3 days
