Synthetic fibre stretching unit for the plastic fibre industry. Wide rows of synthetic fibres run over the godet shafts and the fibres produced by a spinning pump gearbox are stretched to the desired diameter. For this purpose, the gearbox is designed so that the following shaft has a slightly higher speed (friction).
Eleven drafting units are arranged one behind the other in a system. Each gearbox has a bevel drive at the input. The individual bevel drives are connected with cardan shafts so that only one electric motor is required to drive the system.
