Project description:
Two converter drives with an output of 500 PS each leave the Strullendorf factory after 40 weeks of total throughput time. The customer is a German steel company. The 20 metric ton gearboxes are intended for the converter on a blast furnace. The conversion of pig iron to steel is done in the converter. The converter is turned for emptying. The tap hole in the upper area of the converter is turned downward. This turning process is carried out by a total of four gearboxes – each gearbox then develops a drive output of 500 PS.
