The development of prototypes of agitator gearboxes was already done in the 1970s in cooperation between KACHELMANN GETRIEBE and BASF engineers. Until the patent expired KACHELMANN GETRIEBE was recommended as gearbox supplier for all licensees.
In the last 30 years the Know-How was continually further developed. Kachelmann sells agitator drives globally in more than 10 countries.
The exact tuning of the gearboxes to the requirements of the chemists and process engineers guarantees a trouble-free processing of the products, as for example polypropylene.
KACHELMANN GETRIEBE offers agitator gearboxes in both upper drive and lower drive designs (agitator lower drive/agitator upper drive).
At this time the agitator drives for vessels with volumes of 25 m³, 75 m³ and 100 m³ are available. Adaptation to constructional conditions through custom designs can be integrated at any time. The gearboxes shown here are two identical construction agitator lower drives.
