Employees and family mourn the loss of Senior Director Christl Kachelmann

We mourn the loss of Senior Director Christl Kachelmann. As an involved family business woman and management personality, she and her husband, Dipl. Ing. Karlheinz Kachelmann, influenced the business culture of the company. Christl Kachelmann was the Managing Director of the company for many years.

Together with her husband, Dipl. Ing. Karlheinz Kachelmann, the grandson of the company’s founder, she was significantly responsible in the 1970s and 1980s for the expansion of the company, especially in Austria. Both were active both in the working committee of the young businessmen/women of VDMA Bavaria, as well as in the Association of young entrepreneurs of the Bayreuth Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

As one of the first women in a management position in machinery construction, it was always important to Christl Kachelmann to bring family tradition and the accompanying values into the company. She was with the company through thick and thin. Her humanistic view of people, her fair and reliable manner and her technical knowledge will remain in the memories of many longstanding customers, suppliers and all the employees.

Today KACHELMANN GETRIEBE GmbH is run by her children, Dipl. Kffr. Andrea v. Wartenberg and Alexander Kachelmann von Colberg in the 4th generation.
