Synthetic fibre stretching system for the synthetic fibre industry Wide rows of synthetic fibres run over the galette shafts, the fibres, generated via a spinning pump gearbox, are stretched to the desired diameter. The gearbox is designed so that each following shaft has a slightly higher speed (friction).
In one system there are eleven stretching systems in sequence. Each gearbox has a bevel gear on the input drive. The individual bevel gears are connected with cardan shafts, so that only one electric motor is required to drive the system.
